About Stickytarts

I like to describe myself as a 'tartist' - a textile artist, which goes well with the name Stickytarts. I love fabric and keep acquiring more - I just can't seem to stop myself. I also enjoy turning this fabric into beautiful and useful items. This website was developed to support my habit and to infect others spread the joy. This is part of the reason for the blog on which, amongst other things, I will be publishing sewing tutorials to try and encourage you to give it a go yourself.

All my items are individually designed and crafted in my little studio in the Leicestershire countryside by a workforce of one - me. This means that every item is unique to Stickytarts and made to the highest of standards. Only a small volume of goods is made every year, thus making them truly exclusive.

2014 has also seen the launch of The Handcrafted Cafe, which aims to promote local artisans and creatives. Different from other craft fairs we offer a combined pop-up café and shopping experience.

I also love  cooking, and I will be regularly updating my cooking blog with some delicious recipes. A little known fact is that in a past life I was a Come Dine With Me contestant, and "no" I didn't win !
