  1. This is a real quicky. Today I went to Dunelm Mills and bagged myself ( literally ) some lovely odds and sods. As the sales assistant was measuring up my bargain cotton at £1.19/meter, another one was labelling up quite substantial bags of various haberdashery and craft items. I bought all three and when I got home was rather excited to unpack them and find these goodies. Each photo represents one £2.99 bag !

The next challenge was to get all these gorgeous bits & pieces stashed away in the sewing studio which is already bursting at the seams. Also, I was challenged by @Jane_Coop to create three items with the contents of my three bags.

So, here is item number one - a ribbon organiser to keep all your offcuts neat and tidy, stop them from tangling, and enable you at a glance to see what you have in your stash.  For this I usedan offcut of curtain header tape from bag one pictured above, and using a bodkin pulled the ribbons through where one would usually attach the curtain clips. You can now roll it up and store it in a drawer without everything getting in a tangle !

Perhaps you can think of some more good uses for my delightful little stash - have a look at the pictures and give me some inspirations for what else to make please.
